Be Skin Savvy #11 – “Boys will be boys!” I should not be surprised having a teenage son myself but, I must admit I have been, and I am utterly delighted 
🙂 Last week I had 3 new clients, and all of them teenage boys concerned about their blackheads and their brows. I treat them to filling out a questionnaire, which I think I need to update just for them (no menstrual cycles and pregnancy to look forward to!). And as their mothers are hovering over, just as I do, I ask them t…o be honest about their skin care, as most mothers have spent money on numerous drug store lotions and potions for them only to be sitting untouched next to the shower. A quick rinse after soccer or computer practice is what they are all about. However, their concerns are real and they need their quick fix. As I said they are a delight! They giggle and take selfies as they steam and mask. They cringe and wiggle when I do extractions and they are utterly in awe of how wax works and “yes it feels like ripping a band aid off their face!” wow! Cool! The result is a mind blowing confidence builder! My adult cleanse which is designed for teenagers too is a great introduction to skincare and grooming. A back to school lesson to get rid of all the post summer sunscreen. Think about getting the young man in your life a facial.
